BERNARD ABRAHAM ROSENBERG July 25, 1920 - September 4, 2005 Bernie passed away peacefully on September 4, 2005. He was predeceased by his first wife Sylvia in 1980. He is survived by his wife Estelle; children, Janis Rosen, Mark Rosenberg and Monica Overkamp; Estelle's children, Jay Udow, Susan and Harold Gershman, David Udow and Erin Reid; grandchildren, Korri and Robert Savage, Adam Chochinov and Ami Kaup, Joel, Madeline, and Jack Rosenberg, Jennifer and Rachel Gershman; and great-grandchildren, Benjamin Savage, Yael and Jessie Chochinov. Bernie will be remembered as a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a gentle man who lived life to the fullest, enjoyed people, and always had a smile and a friendly word for everyone. Bernie took great pleasure in the simple things in life, including his weekly poker games. He was loyal to his community, his faith, and his loved ones, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family extends sincere thanks to the third floor nurses at Victoria Hospital. If friends so desire, contributions can be made to the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba.
